What to Expect

Foundation Life Bible Church is a Christ-centered church walking in the gospel daily. We're a non-denominational church in suburban Greenwood, IN. We welcome you to join us for worship and verse-by-verse bible teachings, whether you're just curious, new to Christianity or raised in the church.

As you prepare to come on Sunday, a few things to know:

  • Our services teach verse-by-verse through the bible, so if you have one, bring it along. If not, no worries, we have one for you to use.

  • We dress pretty casually. It's totally normal to see the range from business casual to shorts and t-shirt.

How a normal Sunday service goes:

  • People arrive between 10:15-10:30am to fellowship and find their seats.

  • At 10:30am, we begin with announcements, a brief kid’s lesson, and group worship, followed by the sermon.

  • Our sermons go verse-by-verse through a book of the bible. Which means if we ended with Mark 4:34 last week, this week we start with Mark 4:35 and keep going. If you missed past weeks sermons or would like to hear what they're like, you can find our podcast at one of these links (mobile, desktop).

  • We typically wrap up around 11:45am, depending on how long announcements and other items are.

  • Face masks are optional, but welcome.

    • We know that everyone needs to evaluate their own risk and comfort levels. We encourage you to take the precautions that are right for you.

  • Our services will be family-style, with all ages together.

    • There will be no nursery or kids' class, so families will be sitting together. We understand this means there's some fidgeting and it's louder, and that's ok. Please bring some things for your kiddos as appropriate (e.g. pen & notebook for older kids, quiet toys or coloring for younger ones).

    • We will have a short kid’s lesson during service, where kids will be encouraged to participate and answer questions.

    • Once we begin to have enough regularly attending volunteers to staff a nursery or kid’s class, we will reinstate those.

  • Options will continue to be available to view services remotely.

    • For those who are not able to join us in person, we will continue to make remote viewing possible. This will be available via a YouTube live-stream of the service. You’ll be able to find these on our FLBC Connect YouTube channel or on the Sermons page of the website.
